PORK RIBS WITH JONNO’S WORCESTERSHIRE SAUCE

Ingredients

  • 4 pork ribs or pork steak, bone-in
  • 4 tbsp. flour
  • 12 tbsp. butter
  • Salt and pepper
  • 1 onion, diced
  • Sauce
  • 2 tbsp. Jonno’s Worcestershire Sauce
  • 2 tbsp. brown sugar
  • 2 tbsp. soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp. garlic, minced

Instructions

  1. Pat dry pork ribs and dredge in flour. Shake off excess flour.
  2. Heat butter and oil in a skillet over medium-high heat and brown the ribs for about 3 minutes on each side.
  3. Combine all the sauce ingredients and pour on the ribs when they are browned. Add a little water for more sauce.
  4. Spread the diced onions over the ribs. Cover and decrease heat to medium-low.
  5. After 10 min, turn ribs over and simmer for another 2-3 minutes.
  6. Remove and serve with rice, orzo, potatoes or noodles.

Notes

You can add canned pineapple chunks, green pepper strips or prunes along with the onions if desired.
